Doris: We haven't received any nominations for any of the positions.  Right now we have 6 Regional Director vacancies for: Alberta, BC & Yukon, Atlantic, Manitoba, NWT and Ontario East.  The Regional Directors for Saskatchewan, Ontario West, Ontario Central and Ontario North are letting their names stand.  We are still waiting to hear from 3 others
The Corresponding Secretary will let her name stand also.
As Dave will be stepping down as President, we will need someone for this position as well.  If anyone is interested in any of these vacancies, please let us know.

Dave

Thank you to the nominations committee which is Doris, Francine and Karen

Director Reports
Jun 2020

Kim Long -- -- BCC NB/PEI Director:

Everything is well and quiet

Patti Gilmour -- BCC Saskatchewan Director

Wish I had something to report. I canvassed the Saskatchewan members and no one had anything they wanted to share. The last dog show in Saskatchewan was the beginning of March and it is doubtful that there will be any for the rest of the year

Jane Holicka - Ontario Central Director

I hope that all members and their families are safe and sound in these trying times.   It seems like ages since the last dog show held in our area in mid March. With many shows cancelled and suspension of many “normal” activities there isn’t too much to report.
But we have stayed in touch via various technologies. Some of the members have participated in Facebook 10 Day Challenge with a fancier, nominated by another fancier, posting 10 pictures of dogs over 10 days with no explanation. It is amazing - the dogs, the people, the fashion.
In April we expressed our sympathy to   our lifetime member Lillian Wainwright whose beloved “Ringo”, Ch. Glencotta's Ring Of Fire has crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Our family and kennel have been busy in early 2020. Our fawn boy Ch. Xelascon Edge of Glory, “Cairo”” achieved* his Grand Championship title. His baby sister Xelascon Fantom of the Opera (both by Ch. Xelascon Bring Me Lady Ever “Dorka” and MBISS Am.GChS/CGCh. Shadigee’s Calculated Risk “Kaden”) has achieved* her Champion title from puppy classes, with multiple BOBs, Best puppy in Group and an impressive Group 4 placing in a very competitive  Working Group at Woodstock KC show.   Our daughter Caroline was planning to show both extensively during the summer break.  No such luck so far but we along all fancy hope for the light at the end of the tunnel. (*pending CKC confirmation)
At this moment, my home club, Oakville & District KC, is still on the track to host a Regional speciality in September, judged by Mr. Thomas Parrotti.   We hope to see you there.
